ABSTRACTS / SERIES
In my focus on abstract photography, I used a special technique to create the FRAGMENTS series.  To achieve a painterly appearance, I utilized the fascinating possibilities of the photography medium, specifically here, by dragging the shutter and constantly moving the camera. The FRAGMENTS photographs were created in a manner reminiscent of abstract expressionist paintings, where motion plays a crucial role in the process, and colors serve as significant ingredients. These vivid hues originate from butterfly wing pigments, as butterflies have been a significant influence in my work.
It is a series of abstract photographs that evoke the sensation of being submerged in a vast, mysterious underwater world. In the depths of the unknown, color becomes a language of emotion, and light bends into surreal, fluid forms. Each image pulses with luminous hues, drifting between serenity and turbulence, inviting the viewers to lose themselves in an immersive, dreamlike space. By stripping away the familiar, ABYSS explores the infinite, the unseen, and the weightless beauty that exists just beyond reach.
Light, the essence of photography, aligns with the word's Greek roots, meaning "drawing with light." I have always been fascinated by life's fleeting nature and sought to explore it through an experiment involving light and reflection, using a specific physics principle I discovered years ago. Here, I aimed to illustrate how fragility aligns with temporality in our minds while strength is associated with eternity. I created ephemeral sculptures from delicate materials, capturing them through photography to suspend time, a fundamental characteristic of the medium. Photography transforms the ephemeral into a seemingly "permanent" state. To emphasize the delicate and robust aspects of these sculptures, I incorporated butterflies, universally perceived as symbols of fragility, ephemeralness and symbol of positive energy.
As a photographer with a passion for capturing the beauty of lines, there's nothing quite like the thrill of shooting collectible cars. These rare and exotic vehicles are works of art, and they require a skilled eye and a deep appreciation for automotive design to truly capture their essence in a photograph. Whether it's the gleaming curves of a classic Ferrari, the timeless elegance of a vintage Jaguar, or the raw power and aerodynamic lines of a modern Lamborghini, each luxury car has its own unique personality and story to tell. My goal is to capture that essence like when I photograph the human body, to showcase the car's beauty and tell its story through my lens.
